The glaringly obvious answer is that no one bases their attire on what you think.

Frankly, you come off as a raving narcissist by deluding yourself that your (minority) opinion is actually some sort of objective truth.

Get over yourself.

love it

I always wear an undershirt with a dress shirt, but I believe it should never be noticed. Just as if I’m wearing shorts, my boxers shouldn’t be noticed.

Dear Concerned over T's:

T-shirts and wife beaters are not for the faint of heart. It takes someone with that something special to march to their own drum. Dear OP, this does not seem to be you. Although this may be a fashion dilemma for you, it really isn't for most people. Good luck with that issue. All the best, form someone that really does not care.

If one wears a good, heavy fabric dress shirt then one would never know if they are or are not wearing an undershirt under it. Myself, I never wore an undershirt under a dress shirt but my dress shirts were not flimsy, see through, $19.99 ones.

When I see men with an undershirt under their polo shirts, I think their Mom's dressed them.
