Big hoodies look kind of cute on us girls with leggings, plus they are comfortable.

There are several things you can do:

Trim it to size with a sewing machine

Use it for winter. Put additional layers underneath and use your hoodie like a winter coat to stay warm. You will need the extra space while wearing several layers under your hoodie.

Did you check the dimensions before buying. If so, call up the designer and tell him that the dimensions were way off. If he accepts returns, send it back to him.

The only time I ever had a "hoody" was my varsity sweats in Minnesota. I was a swimmer and the swim season was during the winter. 'Nuf said? Haven't worn one since and that was 50 years ago.

I like oversized hoodies and wearing a "properly" fitted one looks kind of dorky to me but I also usually layer my clothes because I haven't really lived anywhere in 15 years that gets cold enough often enough to really justify buying the type of coats that I like. I also embrace the urban getto-ish look though so take all of this with a grain of salt.

No, I don't like hoodies on other people. They are sloppy and intimidating. Why associate yourself with such stigma?

Don't like it on men... Prefer more fitted pullovers/sweaters/jackets. My 12 y.o. son and all his friends wear hoodies (Nike, UA, sports/college teams, etc.) so I think baggyish hoodies are for kids. BTW, they are sheltered suburbanites and not from the hood..

I think they contribute to an unkempt appearance.
