I don't think see any problems with it. If they are too big, maybe it will look a bit unkempt. But like what somebody else said, wear it as an outerwear during winter. Anyway you need some space inside to layer up!

I don't see how some people think that hoodies are for little kids. I work in a fortune top 50 tech company. Me and my other fellow engineers and programmers often wear hoodies. (Dress code is casual unless of course I am meeting with a supplier / client). And alot of us are reaching our 30s.

I think hoodies are fine on college-age kids and younger in school, sports, or casual settings. It's how most of them have been used to dressing for many years now.

But on adults, professionals, parents, older people - hoodies look sloppy and immature. They kind of give off an air of indifference or apathy. I guess if you are an adult who is going for that sort of "whatever" look and you really don't care what kind of impression you are making on other people, then go for it.

(I think it would be OK for adults to wear hoodies while working in the yard, on lazy weekends, etc. Just not out to work or to conduct business or meet with the kid's teachers or other types of more formal or important situations.)

I love hoodies in the fall and winter. I usually pair mine with skinny jeans or my PINK yoga pants/leggings when I'm running errands on the weekends or even during the week. To me it's a fun casual look.
