People really shower every day, twice a day? Wow. okay.
Not necessarily. Some days I don't do anything and on those days, I don't shower before bed because there is no need to.

My logic is that I have clean sheets (changed every Saturday) so, it would be wrong to get in the bed with all the dirt on me. A friend of mine who showers in the morning says that everyone sweats in their sleep; therefore, she wants to start the day off clean.
I agree with that logic, but I shower in the morning. I need the morning shower to wake me up and give me a fresh start for the day. But I also shower at lunch - I do a cardio workout every day on my lunch hour, and shower afterwards. So during the week, 2 showers a day is normal for me.

3 showers is not unheard of for me. Morning, lunchtime (gym), and then when I do yardwork after I get home, there is no way am I going to bed dirty. I think I actually showered 4 times once.

Once a day at the gym...... in the afternoon.

There are microorganisms on the skin that are helpful and provide benefits by being there. One of the important benefits is that they prevent other harmful organisms from developing on the skin, taking over, and then entering into the blood system. I do not take more than one shower a day. If the need comes up after already having showered, I can spot wash using a wash towel.

Whenever I have time. Usually after I work out, but if I have a class early the next morning I'll shower at night so I'm not rushing around the next day.

Before bed. Showers RELAX and CALM you, so taking showers in the morning never made sense to me.

Showers may relax and calm you -- me? They wake me up and invigorate me..... worst thing before bed.....

I can't take a hot shower though -- too hard on my dry skin.
