The only true alternative to not aging is to "die young and stay pretty" as the saying goes. Aging is a fact of life all beings must accept. We can learn to age gracefully, and thankfully, we do have tools to use in the day and age, plus lifestyle choices we can make so that we age as well and as healthfully as we can.

Right on. And to those who claim that they aren't aging visibly in their thirties, all I can tell you is that denial is not a river in Egypt!

I'm lucky. I barely have a wrinkle to my name. But my face has still aged. If I judged aging on wrinkles alone, I'd be set, but I'm not that naive.

Gravity takes it's toll on everyone eventually. If we're lucky.

So I guess I would consider a cougar a woman who is dating men 15-20+ years younger then her.
Yes, 30 years old is too old to be cougar bait. It's got to be a tender young morsel for a real cougar to show interest.

Apparently I'm not a cougar, because all I can think of when I read this is "Blech!"

I don't think cougar means attractive woman over 40 or 50.

I think the term suggests a predatory kind of animal. A woman found cruising the clubs and bars or even colleges and high schools for tender young prey.

I knew a woman of 50 who was dating a 25 year old but she wasn't exactly what a cougar would be I think. She never stalked him, he went after her in the first place, she was lively, slender, very attractive, witty and fun. He actually got serious about her and started talking marriage so she decided it was time to end the relationship, he was crushed but she told him it was for his own good, he needed to date someone he could marry and have a family with. She never felt comfortable about the age difference as he was almost her son's age, I think she just was flattered and got involved in a mistake.

The term implies that, but officially it doesn't mean that. The cougars on the Dr. Phil episode said that men approach them, because they're attractive and look younger than their years. A strong definition of cougar probably means woman who dates much-younger men (plural) without much reluctance and without much interest in marrying them. By the way, the definition of a an older woman who cruises high schools for males is pedophile Or close enough.
