I have not mastered the art of liquid eyeliner. I will trying but in the mean time, does anyone have a recommendation for a good non-smearing liner? My upper lid meets my lower did in such a way that my liner always transfers under my lower lash line.
sounds like you need a primer. I have to have primer or my eyeliner won't stay put. I like the MAC primers that come in a tube "Painteur." I'm a pale white gal, so I use their "Untitled" shade, but "Bamboom" is a nice medium warm brown tone that I sometimes use as a shadow as well.
MAC also has a gel eyeliner that you apply with a brush that I've also had better results with than a liquid liner.

It took me a few years, but after using pencil, liquid, felt tip marker...the gel liners just can't be beat.
Bobbi Brown beats out MAC by a slim margin according to my makeup obsessed friends. I use a different brand, but plan to use BB because hers is the darkest black available. You may not want jet black liner, so either will do.
Primer is a good suggestion also. I haven't gotten around to buying any. When I go to Sephora it is difficult to pass up shiny, sultry lipstick and glosses to buy primer! LOL
I also get the eyelid transfer issue, I just try my best not to open my eye until the liner has set. Usually works, but not always.
Gel liner differs from pencil for that reason, once it sets....it shouldn't budge unless you have very oily skin which you should certainly buy a primer!
Felt tip markers are very easy for me, but they dry out too quickly. I wish there was a way to fix that.
Gel liners are the best, I can tight line and they don't come off - I use Sephora's brand. Just a mention... the shades that have a metallic sheen never seem to work as well (for me) as the matte.

I have used liquid liner for years, was wearing it way before it was "cool." I buy the cheap stuff, usually N.Y.C., and have no issues with fading or smudging.

I thought waterproof eyeliner was a myth. That is, until I decided to pick up Rimmel's Scandal Eyes automatic eye pencil in black. It goes on easily, doesn't smudge, lasts all day, and costs all of $3.99.
I use liquid eyeliner from the beauty supply store (aka, wig shop ). It rarely smudges, and looks kind of sexy when it does. It's very easy to use and is very affordable.
Hey friend..
There are many good eye liner available in market. But I am suggesting the one which I use. I use the eyeliner of Colorbar brand which is Colorbar Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Black-001. It is a very long lasting eye liner. The best thing about it is that does not smudge, crack, flake or peel. Only one stroke is enough to give your eyes gorgeous look. It makes your eyes very beautiful and that's the best. You should also try it.
