Man, and those frames were dreadful, too.

To me, and probably to others with dry eyes, they aren't difficult to put in, but become progressively too uncomfortable to wear within a short span of time after being put in. I can only wear mine for extended periods if I wanna walk around putting eyedrops in multiple times every hour. No thanks, it's a pain. I'll do it for short periods...at my wedding, I'll probably change into my glasses for the reception.

I have astigmatism and I also cannot fathom even the thought of putting something on my eyeball.

I don't think people look bad with glasses at all. I actually think some people look better with glasses.

I have very dry eyes, too. I generally wear my contacts about 10 hours a day and they bug me for a good part of that time. That is one reason I wear glasses some days, just to no deal with the dryness.

I don't wear my contacts often because I have dry, very sensitive eyes, and even the lines of contacts specially manufactured to combat dry eyes are only comfortable for a short period of time. Clear eyes with glasses look better on me than red, puffy, itchy eyes.

I also wear my glasses by choice because I like how they look.
This! Not everyone can wear contacts! I also have dry sensitive eyes!

I have tried everything my eyes cant tolerate anything. Are dailies better.

What brand do you use when you wear contacts

In China, some women who don't need glasses wear empty frames as a fashion accessory.

I have seen several people lately wearing contacts (who normally wear glasses) and it has made a huge improvement in their looks.
A) I can't put contacts in my eyes, for some reason. I blink too much and the eye doctor had no solution beyond practicing at home. I realized that it's not NATURAL to put foreign objects in my eyes!

B) I am not insecure and shallow. Besides, my partner of over 30 years thinks glasses are sexy on women.

Have a nice day.

Contacts are time consuming to put in and take out. Then I must take special care with my eye makeup and cover up (to cover dark circles, etc.) when wearing contacts. My glasses usually cover the circles, along with being cute, low-maintenance, and more comfortable. Still wear eye makeup with them (and false eyelashes). It looks great.
I wear contacts on special days (or occasions) now, like meeting friends for lunch, etc.

I wear my glasses indoors at home. Contacts while at work or outdoors (with sunglasses). Three LASIK procedures have left me with chronic drye eye. So after 8 hours looking at my computer monitor, I can't wait to take my contacts out.

No way will I ever be able to put contacts in. Whenever I go to the eye doctor I can barely stop blinking enough to get my eyes dilated.

Plus it just seems like a lot of work compared to glasses.

Probably wouldn't get Lasik either, that thing they have to put on your eye to keep it open....uugggghhh can't think about it.
