Give the man a break!
He is 77, has spent a lot of time outdoors and does not use who knows what to look 50. So what!
My father spent every possible minute in the mountains on sailing. He had just a bit of "silver fox" on the sides when he passed in his late 70s.

Always that same look and too thick, always same color too.
Something about it looks fake to me.

True.
Even at 20 I didn't have hair like that!

I do remember years ago that when he started getting bumpy warts on his face he chose to keep them rather than have them taken off.
I know what you mean. My mom has hair that color. She only started to get gray at 80. She's 86 now and still has gray only at her temples and a streak on her bangs. Her dad didn't have any gray hair when he died in his seventies. Meanwhile, mine went totally gray when I was in my 40s just like everyone in my dad's family.

But no matter what color Redford's hair is (and it is gray at the temples), you can't fake that healthy look. There's no hair plug in the world that could reproduce the thick hair he has. He has a good cut, too. It hides his high hairline without that Julius Caesar look.

I wish I had hair! (Actually, I don't much care -- I look better bald and it saves a whole lot of grooming time.)

It's not a matter of believing ME -- it's believing HIM -- Robert Redford said it and the director of the film he was working on confirmed it. Read the article! Geesh. I think Redford is secure enough in himself to tell the truth on this one.

When I see an older person who has had a facelift, I just feel sorry for them. They look freakish and un natural. Good for RR.
He has a warped sense politically (I just heard that he said because I think Obama is the worst president ever, I must be a racist), but at least he still has enough sense to age gracefully.

It is natural. The sun is a part of nature. Doesn't seem he trying be attractive, but just living int he body that God gave him. For that I think he looks a lot better than many men in his situation. Look at Bruce Jenner. He's had so much plastic surgery he now looks like a woman. Kenny Rogers was great looking. Now he looks like he's permanently surprised! Lol.
