Thinking of purchasing the purple jeans at WHBM but, I'm indecisive. Not sure how much I will wear them and also wonder if I'm too old for them. Please give me your opinions...Do you like them or not?

Honestly it depends on how you wear them, if you are naturally sort of chic or funky. Or at least close. Just go online and get some ideas of what tops to wear as well as accessories then give it a go!

I definitely think they would look wonderful for the fall and winter (even if it isn't cold where you live).

As for the age issue, the boldness or brightness of an item isn't going to make it look girly vs. sophisticated. Since the color of the jean is a little adventurous, then go for something basic on the top (no ruffles, for instance). I'd avoid florals or paisleys with the purple jeans as they'd probably look dated or age you.

A black long sleeved top with some black boots would look great with your purple jeans. (So would olive and light blue - but you have to be somewhat talented with colors to pull that off :-)

Well, we have no idea how much you will wear them... only you do!
And I don't think jeans have age-restraints.

As with everything else, just make sure they fit properly. As long as they're not juniors, you should be fine.

Maybe this is a case of "if you really have to ask random internet strangers...don't buy them."

I'm 55 and have a few pairs of colored skinny jeans (bright red, pink, black.)

Mine is the only opinion that's relevant; they are comfortable, show off my legs and I like how they look. I'm not interested in your opinion. I like them on ME. Why you are asking whether I would like them on YOU is...well, frankly a very weird question.

Being 55, I'm way past the stage of pairing skinny colored jeans with teeny tight tops! That would be tacky. But with longer tops, flowy blouses or casual baggy t-shirts I think I'm dressing completely age-appropriately (gray hair and all!) in a sort of Stevie Nicksian way.

Personally, I don't think anyone over the age of nine should wear purple jeans.
