Awwwwwwwwwww, poor you.

OK, enough sarcasm from me, but actually, I seriously was puzzled (as I wrote earlier). You wrote that you just want to get compliments? I don't know too many people who walk around giving compliments based on looks, even people your age (I am around college students a lot). "Hey, you are so good lookin'" ... that's just not a likely conversation.

Nice looking girls don't likes smart and nerdy guys. We are always left out , even if we dress well and are respectful. If nerds ask for attention, they are usually made fun of or bullied. Guess our only option is to go single.

You are just hitting on the wrong girls. Find a girl who was a nerd in HS or MS and blossomed later. Also, look for someone equally smart.
If you want the ex cheerleader you are out of luck.

OP, most people do not get compliments on their appearance unless it is about clothing or style. An exception is a hot girl that a guy is interested in dating. Carry yourself well and show some style.

Not true at all if you look for girls/women WITH BRAINS -- they like men with brains too!

(so says a former cheerleader who finds intelligence the sexiest thing a man can bring to a relationship)

Not muscular or anything like that but facially I have been called alright looking. I am not ugly, but I am really average, that is what people say about me. Some girls say I am kinda cute but that rarely happens, I am not the top tier kind of guy.

I looked into the reasons for this and the one my friends keep telling me is that I look very "foreign". See I have light brown skin, black hair, and brown eyes (yes, I am a minority).

I know that can't be it.

What I want to know is, what makes girls from the age of 18-22 consider a guy physically attractive or handsome?
From what I've seen, going to the gym and getting in great shape prompts interest/comments from women, as well as dressing nice, regardless of ethnic makeup. Plus you benefit from good health.

What he really wants is to attract one girl, he doesnt care in general how he looks. He just wants to look like the guy his crush would like.
