I wear what I want and like...I'll let others follow MY trend! I'm not insecure, therefore I do not follow or seek others approval. If they don't like my clothes they are free to not look.
Personally I find the clothing that is "In" are the clothes hanging in my closet along with those I find in my dresser drawers.
It helps that I am not a "trend follower" and could care less what others think about what I wear.
I avoid overly trendy things. I like timeless looks, or at least long-lasting fashions. Some might find it boring, but I call it both efficient and affordable.
Just google something like latest trends and see what pops up. I love fashion but don't follow it or stay with the trends. I buy what I like and that's all that matters
I try to wear current fashions but the most important thing is that the fashion looks good on my body - I dress to enhance my own body not just something that looks good on a size 0 fashion model with no t-ts or as-
High end fashion magazines like Vogue dictate what is "in" with the fresh of the runway will pay a month's mortgage for a t-shirt crowd. Teens getting off the school bus and low to mid level mall store inventory are another indicator. I don't bother with the latter. Most trends I either don't like or refuse to wear like leggings as pants or this past summer with those high in the front low in the back hemline dresses. I get more compliments for clothes I wear that fit properly and the color flatters me and you can't tell who made it because the designer's name isn't splayed from neck to ankle.
