A family member got a cancer scare so I'm done with tanning booths. I find a lot of the bottled self tanners messy! How do y'll tan effectively & safely?

How do you do that? How have you managed to tan uniformly? Last summer I tanned immersely. This winter I only want to use bronzers etc. No tanning bed but if I can have her sun kissed complexion imma be happy

I have the same skin tone I was born with and don't plan on changing it.
It isn't good for your skin anyway and I prefer to get older chronologically without the leather look.

What about the self-tanners that are mixed into lotion? Those aren't as messy and you're unlikely to be orange and streaky unless you always miss the same spots when you put lotion on.

I have a natural tan, so no worries for me. However, its darker during the summer and lighter during the winter. For some reason, I prefer a lighter tan to a dark tan, so Cool wet weather brings out the best pigmentation in my skin.

Thanks I will look into this! I also wear a darker foundation with a turtle neckand gloves but I can only do that in the thick of winter.

Why not plan a winter vacation on a tropical island so you can sport a real tan?
