They are certainly not. This is a particularly common misconception in the region I reside in. I have an hourglass figure, and I've been called "bony". Not good.

That is what I think of as curvy too.
If you look closer,you can see she has cellulite. Curvy has nothing to do with being solid or jiggly.
If seen curvy less "solid"(muscular) women and jiggly women with curves and no rolls.

Come to think of it,it seems most of the athletic women with the six packs have no waistlines.
I guess exercising the stomach makes the muscles on the sides(obliques) push out to give them a square shaped torso.
