I'm proud of my long hair. I was always given the choice of how I wanted my hair and I always had it long. 33 years and it's never been cut. Just trimmed. It's not common in my area to see hair like this and people recognize me from church because of my knee-length hair. It's not hard for me to take care of my hair; I've never known any different. I would probably have more trouble managing short hair than long hair.

So, any other ladies here who are long haired and proud of it?

I'm not a woman (for now*), but personally, if I was a woman, I would probably prefer hair which is at least a little shorter than yours. That said, if you are happy with your extremely long hair, then good for you (not sarcasm)! As they say, "Whatever floats your boat!"

*This could change in the future.

My hair is almost waist length, it'll be a few more years before it's as long as yours! I might just keep it at hip length though when it gets that long...

Never let mine get that long....
I personally prefer thickness and uniformity to the uneven thinness.

Nooo way for me...I've got curly thick hair and if it gets below mid back it just looks terrible.
I wish I had the hair texture for long hair...my sister had waist length hair for years and it looked great, as does yours!

One downside: Getting yanked, getting in the way and getting messy when having sex.

It took me a couple years to convince my friend with hair that length to cut a foot off it, and when she did she was really happy with how much better it looked. And now, about 10 years later, she has it just below her shoulders, which is really, I think, the best length if you want long-ish hair. Hair that fine just starts to look ragged when it gets too long.

@littlechoirlady: If you don't mind me asking, do you ever put your hair in a ponytail?
