Who cares, as long as you like them and they're comfortable?

No, they are still in fashion, and I'm in Los Angeles. I'm wearing mine right now. They are the only thing that keep my feet warm in the winter in this cold house. I slip them on every morning like slippers. I may even get another pair this year. Right now I have chocolate, but I wouldn't mind a black pair.

I have a black pair and they're great! We've got snow showers today here in the Midwest so they will be warm and toasty. I wear mine more for practical purposes than as a fashion statement, though.

I read the other day that Russell Crowe sent Norman Mailer a pair of black Uggs some time back. Mailer liked them much that his family buried him in them! What a hoot!

I'm not a fan of them, nor do I think they flatter anyone, but you should wear what you like and feel good in!

And I don't think they're passe yet.

My opinion...and I'm a Californian...They are indeed "UGGLY", tacky, look ridiculous with shorts, and would be good for foot warmers if you lived in snow country. Where are my flip flops??

They look fine. I don't wear mine with shorts. I wear them around the house with my sweat pants and they look cute. They are the best when it comes to keeping your feet warm. Easy on, easy off. For practicality, they can't be beat.
