Maybe one or two times in the middle of the night, but for the most part it hasn't been very cold. I guess if I was out wandering around at 3am I might have wanted gloves, but I was in bed under the covers.

So far only when I go walking in the morning before its warmed up. I use trek poles so can't put my hands in my pockets. Otherwise, not cold enough yet but that could change tomorrow.

The only reason I wore gloves was to clean the ice. Else lows in the upper 20's usually don't require gloves unless its snowing. I can't touch and scrape ice with raw hands.

I'm still on standby patiently awaiting Mr. Snow miser! Good thread! I can't wait to break out the cold weather gear! I've worn some gloves and such, but it's not yet cold enough for a full wool wardrobe.

I'm Mister Snow - I'm Mister Icicle, I'm Mister Ten Below - Friends call me Snow Miser, Whatever I touch
Turns to snow in my clutch! I'm too much.

hahaha!

Cheers,
bolillo

We've had some relatively mild weather for October, and when it has been cold enough for gloves, it's in the middle of the night when I'm not outside. But yesterday, it was rather windy when I made a trip to the supermarket and crossing the parking lot with bags in hand, I would have welcomed a pair of gloves. I'm thinking it may be time.

Here in NEPA, the temperature in different areas can fluctuate wildly and it would not be prudent to assume that my town would have the same temp as one in the higher elevations of the Poconos.

I understand. We visit that region frequently due to the presence of a sacred Temple. I got stuck in a hailstorm up there once and a couple miles downhill, there was just a drizzle.

I park in a garage overnight, so my car isn't that cold in the mornings. It is colder driving home from work after the car sits outside all day, but it is at the warmest time of the day. Plus I only drive a couple of miles. I actually wore a light jacket today for the first time this season. I rarely take out the winter coat. It has been cold here, we actually got a skiff of snow yesterday, but cold doesn't bother me all that much and I don't spend much time outdoors. I haven't dug out my gloves yet either.

I walk my dog before I go to work, so I've been wearing at least leather gloves since September. The last week or two, I've been in winter gloves even when walking him after work.

Of course, I can't stand having cold hands, and have been known to wear my gardening gloves all day even in July.

Its so cold here today. There is no way I would have survived the 1.6 mile walk without gloves. If this chill continues, I will start whining just like my brother and cousins . Can't wait to settle down somewhere warm year round.
