Come on now, it's not nice to call a woman nasty or gross regardless of size.

And interestingly enough, I'd be willing to bet money girls #3 is nowhere near being 'overweight'.

Not every white has a flat butt either. My cousin is all booty and she's white.

Hips don't lie.

The larger the difference in numbers between her waist-to-hip, bust-to-waist ratio makes a woman more voluptuous IMO. Thickness just makes her curvier and fuller as a woman.

This. WTF is up with calling someone's shape "nasty"? And girl #3 is definitely not "overweight." I equate "curvy" with an hour glass figure. That could be a size 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14. I'm a 10/12 at 5'9.5" with an hour glass figure. I carry excess weight in my lower half, which I can afford to lose (my ideal size is about a 6/8). My WtH ratio is 0.72.

To me, true "curvy" means hourglass shape with at least normal size breasts.

Also, I believe that many young women can achieve something close to that by having good fitness. Weight distribution is partly hormonal, which is affected by things like diet. Kate Upton looks like she eats an unhealthy diet. Ke$ha seems to recently have gone from a blocky body to somewhat of an hourglass, and I'd bet it has involved cutting back on alcohol intake. Probably building booty muscle, which she has done, helps the body burn stomach fat.

Edited for a chance to push a strange fix: even if a woman is naturally blocky (lousy WHR when fit), corseting can be a permanent or semi-permanent way to become curvier (squeezing the waist until it stays narrower).

Nobody needs to do that for oneself, it is also unhealthy.

"Needs to," no. But it isn't necessarily physically harmful (though it's uncomfortable, I bet), and it can be more psychologically healthy than self-hating or self-starving for being boxy.
