I don't think I belong on this part of City Data. I simply don't care that much. Sometimes I wonder if my wife is too small and skinny and if I had married a bigger girl then our kids be strong and athletic like me. Then again, I'd rather they inherit their mother's brains and do differential calculus rather than play football.

So, by this standard, if you have a small, defined waist in relation to boobs and hips, but have fat deposits on your hips and butt, are you curvy or fat?

Would that not depend on overall size, and how big (or jiggly) the fat deposits are?

I'm the skinny box type; wish I was curvy but I never have been! Narrow hips and small butt, not a tiny waist, but big boobs.

You can judge their bodies one by one and remember to count those who are on the list without big curves

The Hottest Women of 2013 | Men's Health

I find it interesting that a number of these women do not have an hourglass figure, and are small in the chest. I always though big boobs were required for "hot" status. ??

I actually think, in reality, people find a wider range of people "hot" than we care to admit. Curviness isn't a prerequisite for being hot. Plenty of people find Mila Kunis hot, and she isn't remotely curvy. Ice T's wife Coco is super curvy, but not everyone finds her hot....

For some reason I thought this thread was about possibly larger women using the word curvy rather then overweight. It seems to have changed that thin women also can be curvy.
To me some people regardless of weight will never be curvy unless they got plastic surgery. It is just not their shape.
