As all of you may be aware, an arctic blast will bring painfully cold weather to the Midwest and interior northeast. So, are all of you ready to haul out the winter coats, gloves, hats, and other cold protection equipment.

I surely need all of the equipment mentioned above tomorrow. Its going to snow over here, and the high is only 39 F. Very cold weather for November in central NJ. FYI, our typical January high is 39 F.

Even those down south will feel the chill as temperatures will drop below freezing in several locations.

Nope. It was nearly 90 degrees here today. Still sundresses and sandals weather for me.

My winter gear has been out since October 4th. I do need to replace my hat and gloves, though. I think I need to try the kids section this time. It's currently 17 degrees here.

It might even plummet to the mid-60s here on Wednesday night.

I'm painfully aware of the cold, I had to turn on my heat last night when it got down in the low 40s here in coastal SC. Granted it went off this morning and will be turned off during the day, it's going to be 68 and sunny today here. However back in WV, they was supposed to have snow last night. Not sure how much they got, haven't called my mom yet this morning. I know one thing I am so glad I left that miserable state. I'm wearing a short sleeve polo today, shorts and flip flops to go out in. I'll be bringing a lightweight jacket for later on in case i'm out after dark. The lawn mowers are going this morning, the houses are being washed down and it's a bright sunny day here, our trees haven't really started changing color yet here.

Meh... no painfully cold here. That would be below zero, which we are not.

Brrrrr! Today's high came at 7 am - and it's been steadily dropping since here in east Texas. It's dropped eight degrees since that high of 57 this morning and will drop into the twenties tonight, with a high in only the forties tomorrow. For those of us in east Texas, this is COOOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDD! But it's all good - I've already got a fire going in my fireplace and I'm enjoying the cold, blustery view outside - from inside (that wind out there is kickin'!).

I've got a class tonight and I'll definitely be wearing my boots and a big scarf and jacket! No gloves though - it has to be really, really cold for me to break out the gloves and hats. I don't like hat hair, though I LOVE hats! I just want to leave it on once I put it on, you know?
