2. measure your hips (at the widest point).
3. WHR = w/h

But here is my question, are your hips mostly hips or mostly butt. I find that people with more butt than hips actually look less curvy (from the front) because their butt tends to stick out more.)
Mine is .75, and I am more hippy.

Waist 31", hips 40"-so that's a 9 inch difference, not quite 10.
Dunno' how to assess contribution of my hips vs. my hindquarters-
but from the front, my hips are pretty evident (hourglass shape).
