In the thread on the attractiveness of Europeans the discussion went off-topic, but since I have never understood why women, especially in the West, keep torturing their feet by wearing high heels, why not open a thread on that topic?

Here was the original thread...

So, no, in my view high heels have nothing to do with being a woman. Most women around the world never wear high heels, for instance my Indian friend, a very feminine, lovely lady

IMO, ANY woman who never wears high heels is one smart person. High heels can, and do, screw up your feet, your leg tendons, your back, your balance as well as your whole body in general.

Humans were not designed to walk in high heels but the fashionista's insist that is looks so cool all while they endure foot pain and back pain. How stupid!!

It's one thing to look nice but to do it at the expense of your general health because of high heels is just lame!

"Is a woman who never wears high heels a real woman?"
Chromosomes determines sex, not shoes.

Indeed, it is almost as absurd as those African tribes who lengthen their necks by forcing metal rings around their necks from childhood on

What is the purpose of high heels anyway?

For some reason, I've not really found high heels especially that attractive on women either, not more than wearing running shoes or sandals or something.

To add height and visually lengthen the leg line.

Actually, their necks aren't lengthened. The heavy rings force their collarbones to angle downward to give the illusion of a lengthened neck. It would be impossible to lengthen your spinal column in any appreciable way. If you did i suppose you would end up paralyzed.

But, even today fashion models, who are worshipped for their beauty have unusually long necks.

Women wear high heels for the same reason as they wear make up and nice, sexy clothes. For us men.
They want to attract the opposite sex. There is no other reason for a woman to dress up nicely and to put on make up. Want to feel good about herself? Yea, she will when she have male attention.

So, is a woman who never wear high heels a real woman?
Of course that will depend on what you think is a "real" woman. But if I should answer it personally; Not really. Why? Because what that says about a woman is that she probably don't like sex, and I'm an extremly sexual man. Of course it can also mean that she's married, and doesn't feel the need to dress up nice for her man. Maybe she really hates to wear high heels and her husband lets her get away with it, fine.
But at least if a girl puts on a mini-skirt and some high heels, have her hair done and her nails painted, I know why she did it, and I like it.

So remember, look for the little things. There's always a thought or a story behind everything a woman does to herself. The way you dress is often how you want to project yourself to other people. A girl dresses like a ****? It's because she wants you to think she's a ****. Someone dresses like Tony Montana? He wants you to think he's a badboy. Easy.
