Freckles are cute...age spots AREN'T!
Have any of you found a product or treatment to get rid of them? What about lasers? Are the effective? How about cost? Or should I just resign myself to the fact that I have L A R G E freckles on my face?

Thanks in advance,
Joycie

See a dermatologist. He/she might need to take a look at it if it's very large and you don't have any others. If it really is an age spot....you had just as well start getting used to them rather than worrying yourself about it.
Some skin just form the dratted things faster. I'm one of the unlucky ones. My arms and legs look as if I had been spattered with tan paint.

On QVC, there is a product by Joan Rivers called Magic something or the other.
I heard it works and qvc's policy is that you have 30 days to try it or you can send it back.

The IPL Laser works wonders! I have it done every couple of years for sun spots, age spots, dark circles - whatever needs to be removed from my skin to keep me young looking. I usually buy a series of five treatments at $300 each. They are so worth it! IPL also has the added benefit of tightening the skin too.

Hello
I'm a Permanent Cosmetic consultant and a Skin Specialist from the UK, I have my own business and one of the treatments I offer is IPL.

It's fanatstic for all types of treatments and very good for those age spots, not just for your face your hands, chest, neck and any other part of your body.

Good Luck

What does the IPL laser treatment do?
Is it specifically use for age spots/ freckles....or is that an "added benefit"?
I mean, how "far down into the skin" does it go?
Tell me more about it...I am all ears!!!

Hello,

IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

Hair Reduction
IPL deliveres safe bursts of light which are absorbed by the melanin in your hair, destroying the folicle from the root with minimun discomfort and no side effects. The results are effective, long-lasting, quick, virtually pain -free and clinically safe.

Rosacea
Carefully controlled pulses of light target the surrounding affected areas which are easily absorbed by haemoglobin in the red blood sells. This then damages the wall of the blood vessels allowing the body's own natural defence to remove this tissue.

Photo rejuvenation
Advanced non-invasive beauty treatment
You can defy and reverse the signs of ageing
Works by reducing fine lines and ageing spots whilst boosting the production of collagen and elastin to create youthful, fresh and smoother looking skin.

Also effective with IPL:
Birthmmarks
Facial Thread and Spider veins
permanent Hair Reduction
Photo rejuvenation
Rosacea
Sun Damage Skin
Vascular Lesion

I'm sure you have this treatment in the US, if not i need to get over there and take some bookings. I do know you have simular alternatives LHE (Light Heat Energy) use only by DR's in the US. This is a great system but in the wrong hands can cause scar tissue to form, this can be very hot, unlike IPL.

Choose your tech/Dr and research research

Hope this helps

Yes, we have IPL here in the US. I do the IPL treatments every couple of years. Most med-spas have the IPL laser.

Helllo Twinkle Toes,

What part of CA do you live? What other treatments do you offer.
I'm buying a vacation home in LV, should be completed by Feb 08.
I'm planning some skiing in CA, do you have any suggestions?
