I just can't understand why women can't just go natural and not put anything on their faces. Men do not like women with clown looking faces. Just a lip gloss is good enough. This has to be a major insecurity that almost all women have to put something on before they go out.

You should have seen what men in the Relationships forum had to say about this idea. They hate when women go without makeup. They say most women are ugly without makeup.
Most places where I've lived, women do go without makeup, though. You should move to the West Coast or northern New Mexico and Colorado, if you like that look. France, too.
That's a big city thing. I see alot of women in Colorado that wear minimal makeup.
Texas is pretty high on the makeup factor.
Heh. Maybe that's why I'm so much happier here in CO than I was in Jersey. If I remember to put lip gloss on before a date, I've gone above and beyond my usual standard. Nobody seems to mind, and my female friends don't really wear any makeup here. Ok, truthfully, neither did my female friends in Jersey - but we were in the minority.
Because it gets old being asked if we're sick, tired or if we just don't care about our appearances?
I rarely wear makeup, but I get people fairly often telling me I'd look 'so much prettier' if I spent some time and put some effort into wearing more makeup.
There was a link posted here in a thread showing the top whatever bollywood stars with and without makeup... just reading that and seeing comments about how ugly and homely the women looked without makeup could influence women.
Sorry, but all but a very few women can use a little "enhancement." I myself put a little makeup on each morning whether I go anywhere or not, just for MYSELF. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE I know compliments me when I do this, but think I am sick when I do not. That said, I do NOT wear "clownish" makeup, just a little eyeliner and tinted lip gloss, maybe a touch of blush if I look pale that day.
There are plenty of photos on the web of celebs with and without makeup and very few look all that beautiful without - most just look like ordinary women. Nothing wrong with that but just sayin.' I'm keeping my makeup, thank you.
