There are guys I think are decent looking or good looking but most girls look at them and say "eeww he is ugly". When people preach facial symmetry I feel that it applies more to women and less to men. For men the guys I have seen being considered good looking are usually: Tall, Muscular, and I have to admit that most women in America don't seem to be too big on finding any men from minority groups attractive, especially the younger crowd of girls who you would think are more open minded.
Other than that, I don't think there is much to it. As long as a guy is tall, muscular, and white he will be handsome to the majority of women and if he isn't all 3 then good looks just aren't going to be one of the things most women in America describe him as.
I agree with "tall and muscular" being key attributes to being handsome to most....but "white"....I don't think so.
In the real world, India & China have a billion plus people each. Some men there may be tall & muscular, but few are white. Seems like they don't have a problem finding partners...
In the US, most people are white & they will be drawn to what is familiar to them - other white people. This has & will continue to lessen as there is more exposure to diversity.

I disagree. I believe diversity makes White bias that much more noticeable. Notice how in a lot of the big cities that are "diverse" you see White males dating attractive females of all races but Chinese and Indian males are usually with women of their own race only. You also see in a country as diverse as the US where most of the males that are represented as attractive are exclusively White. I would say someone who is a minority is better off in an area that is mostly White as opposed to a racially diverse area where they might get overlooked compared to someone who is White, this is especially true for males from minority groups.

Are you blind? Indian and Asian men also date white women. Dating with white-Asian and white-Indian is high nowadays, hence the high intermarriage rate for those races.

Maybe once every blue moon but you rarely see many of these couples, especially not with Indian men here in America.

Happens all the time in my circles. I used to date an Indian man when I was in my twenties (I'm Caucasian) and I have female Caucasian friends whose husbands are Asian or Indian.
