Seeking Info on Permanent Makeup

I had permanent eyeliner done in CA in 2000...best thing I ever did! I am soooo fair, with blonde eyelashes and brows, pinkish eyelids and absolutely NO definition around my eyes. I literally looked like a completely different person without eye makeup, and not in a good way. Now I can go out without eyeshadow and mascara and still look normal. In fact, I just had eye surgery and couldn't wear eye makeup for a month. Before permanent eyeliner, I wouldn't have gone out of the house without sunglasses. But with it, most people didn't even notice the difference. I've had it touched up twice but the last time was over 10 years ago. It has faded but it's definitely still visible and not a weird color....and also hasn't sagged or gotten mis-shapen.

I also had my lips done -- lipliner and filler -- but lips do fade fast. I still think there is a bit of color there, but not enough to go without lipstick. However, with the new matte liquid lipsticks I can go all night without a touchup anyway.

Brows are another story. I have seen many people look very harsh after getting them done. Also, some of my friends went to an Asian place to get them done and they later faded to purple. Now that micro-blading is here, I was thinking about supplementing my brows with that, but I would have to go back to CA to get it done as that's the only place I trust. Oh and I did see a Judge Judy episode where a lady had taken a two-day crash course in micro-blading, so I'd be really careful if you're getting it done.
