Okay im against being cruel to people and calling them names but im also against letting yourself go. Sure being called fat isnt nice but when youre overweight you need to lose it. Nobody i know of ever went on a diet and started exercising after someone hugged them and said "we love you just the way you are".

Fat women need to lose it?
Says who?

Why can't people comprehend that some women are comfortable being overweight and obese?

I know for me,i get really miserable trying to eat 1600 cal a day.
I just can't. Plus,i think my body looks sort of better around the 180 to 205 lb mark,and i am 5ft 8in.
My body fat percentage is 30.2 and i am 205 lbs.
Bmi is in the obese range though at 32.3%.

Just because they staged a few pictures of celebraties diving into a pool or sitting on a reowing machine doesn't mean they exercised. Before 1970, it would have been rare to see a woman running or lifting weights. In fact, it would have been rare to see a man over college age running. Today, virtually all celebraties have personal trainers and many take exercising seriously.

People were less overweight in those days not because of exercise but because they ate less and did more routine manual labor. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, fat consumption by people in the United States has declined during the past decades, but calorie expenditure has gone down as well. Adults are not burning the calories they are consuming, and as a result, obesity rates increased by 214 percent between 1950 and 2000. Two out of every three people in the U.S. were obese or overweight in 2010.

While more people are overweight today, there are many more people exercising than in the 1950s or 1960s, especially women and older men. Today, virtually all celebraties have personal trainers and many take exercising seriously as seen below.

You have to realize just because they say they exercise does not mean they actually DO.

Somewhere in their pasts is a surgeon's knife, esp Madonna.

When i see non celebrity, fit women Madonna's age they do not look like that.

Cellulite has nothing to do with body fat. You could be 112 lbs, 5ft 9in and still have cellulite.
You could also be 5 ft 2 inches,500 lbs and not have cellulite.

It has something to do with connective tissue and women's hormones.
Ever wonder why you do not see men with cellulite?

Not everyone who is overweight can control it. We come in all shapes and sizes. Some people struggle their entire lives and can't get it under control and I refuse to judge another human being based on appearance. My neighbor has medical issues (RA) and is on lots of medications that prevent her from losing weight. She seldom goes out because she can't accept how much weight she's put on mainly because there are people in this world who judge others by how we look.
I've seen the lady eat and she eats less than I do and I only weight 126. There are lots of people with medical issues. Does everyone who is overwieght have medical issues? No but You can't look at someone and start judging them unless you walk in their shoes. I look at it like this. It is none of our business what Sam or Cindy look like unless it directly affects you. I have seen people who think they are fat because of people telling them they are but they aren't at all! Society today has a misconception of what is really fat. In a perfect world we would accept others for who they are and what they look like but it's not a perfect world. My heart breaks for the people who are made to feel so bad that their lives are so unhappy or they decide to end their life. I couldn't live with myself if I were so cruel.

I don't think anyone would consider her fat. She isn't skinny, like some of the "norms" of today, but she certainly could not be considered "fat".
