What are all of your thoughts on men wearing jockstraps (in private and/or in other places where it is appropriate to do this)?

Personally, while I have my doubts that I would ever wear a jockstrap, I do think that they look pretty nice on some men. I certainly understand why some gay guys like them, though!

Thoughts?

And Yes, this is genuinely a completely serious question.

Jockstraps are never meant to be seen except in a locker room or an intimate situation.

Jockstraps are a functional thing, meant to keep the equipment in place when you're moving around a lot and it would otherwise be tossed around. I've never thought of them in the context of fashion.

It's not a fashion item any more than a sports bra for women is a fashion item.

I know that jockstraps are a "thing" in some gay porn or gay clubs, but I don't think straight women care about them at all one way or another.

I haven't seen a jockstrap since 1955 in my high school locker room.

It was being tossed around like a stinky hot potato until it finally ended up on the wimpy kid's face.

You are correct - I would never wear one:>)

1. Agreed.

2. Yes, agreed.

3. I don't know--some jockstraps appear like they might be pretty fashionable.

Well, I might consider sports bras (or at least some of them, such as the more stylish and/or colorful ones) to be fashion items as well.

Nowadays a regular pair of tighties offer the same support.

I think their uncomfortable but might feel good on a hot day in terms of breathability.

As far as fashion, like anything else I'm sure they have a following, the colored jocks or those super thin ones that gay men wear look pretty bad, even if you have the body/goods to show it off.
