Cocoa butter lotion, or...
Avon Perfumed Skin Softener, or...
Petroleum jelly (and always on my feet before covering with socks)
Avon Nurtura Night Cream
Merle Norman Superlube Emollient around my eyes
Sometimes Jergens Original Scented hand cream
I normally shower at night before I go to bed, so here's what I use. I am 65 years old, by the way, so back off -- I reallyneed all these lotions and potions!
Body lotion: Kiehl's Creme de Corps Deodorant: Kiehl's Superbly Efficient Antiperspirant & Deodorant Cream Face and Neck: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate Eyes: Kiehl's Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream Hands: Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve (has a chemical scent, but it does the job well) Nails: Bag Balm massaged into my nails and cuticles (my nails are thin and brittle, and this helps) Lips: Fresh Sugar's Sugar Shine Lip Treatment, Carmex or Kiehl's Lip Balm Fragrance: A few spritzes of lavender cologne
I used to use Tom's deodorant, but I work out strenuously four times a week at the gym, and I sweat a lot. Tom's just wasn't cutting it. Kiehl's is pricey, but it really works and doesn't irritate my skin like some of the other antiperspirants *cough* Mitchum *cough*.
In the daytime, I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer instead of foundation because it contains a broad spectrum sunscreen (SPF20) and it is sheer and lightweight, which looks more natural on older skin. I use a dab of foundation or concealer as necessary to cover any imperfections.
We used Tom's for many years, but my husband developed a serious case of contact dermatitis, so he switched to crystal deodorant. I dust my underarms with a mixture of cornstarch and baking soda. Sometimes I add cornstarch and baking soda to melted coconut oil and pour the mixture into an old deodorant container where it hardens. It works well and doesn't irritate my skin. Plus it smells great!
Shower: Cussons Imperial Leather soap
Face and Neck: Monsia Cleanser & toner plus day cream with SPF15
Lips: Marinello Cosmetica lip balm
Body lotion/hands & feet: Homemade shea butter & jojoba oil mixture
