Ladies, if you had ugly, mismatched toes & feet (due to necessary surgeries), would you wear sandals?

I do have ugly feet, and I wear sandals all the time, because I don't care what anyone thinks of my feet. That's their stuff.

Not only do I have ugly feet, I have BIG feet! I still wear sandals, though. I get regular pedicures and wear sandals that minimize the ugliness of my feet.

I do. I just make sure my toenails are done, the shoes fit correctly, and don't draw attention to my feet/ankles.

As long as they aren't dirty or unkept (i.e. fungus, yellowing nails, untrimmed nails, etc) I see no problem with wearing sandals.

I have big feet and a scar on my ankle and lower leg. I still wear sandals, I don't care what anyone thinks of my scar. When I was younger, I wanted to get a tattoo to cover it up, but I just don't care anymore.

I suppose that it is a matter of how ugly and mismatched my toes and feet would be.

If they are so bad that young children would start crying if they saw them----perhaps missing a couple toes on each foot and having bones stick up out of the skin then no I would not wear sandals.

But normal surgical scars, even very large surgical scars and perhaps my ankle or foot being bent or misshapen I would continue to wear sandals. Look at it this way, if your foot looked like that because of physical disability would that stop you from wearing sandals? If no, then wear whatever type of shoe that you desire.
