Ive got no telling how many bottles of polish that Ive bought over the years. Ive heard that you should throw them away after so long but i cant find those colors anymore so i keep them. Theres nothing wrong with any of them, mind you.

Just wondering how everyone else out there is. Do you keep them, toss them, or do you use them all up before they even have a chance to get old?

I have over 150 bottles of polish and I have never, ever used up a bottle. I don't throw a bottle away unless it dries up.

I don't own any nail polish! One of the things I do to pamper myself is regular pedicures. I have never liked colored polish on my hands and I do have nice nails. I usually get a French manicure on my hands or just clear.

Don't throw them away. Your SO can use it for poormans thread locker. Like Loc Tite on threads of fasteners.

I keep them forever. And if the polish get a little too thick, a drop of nail polish remover fixes it right up.

I keep a bottle of polish thinner for the ones I really like. And I have some bottles likely older than some of the people on this forum.

I'm a tosser. I've hit upon what works for me -- I buy one shade a year and I use that for the year, and then out it goes and I buy a new shade. But I only paint my toenails.

I'm actually thinking about getting a pedicure and letting them paint my nails. It sounds nice, and I keep my feet up so there's no digging or cutting necessary.

Mine usually dry out before I can finish the bottle. When it starts getting too thick to go on smoothly, I add a drop of nail polish remover one time to thin it out. Whenever I try to thin it out a second time, the nail polish loses its shine. So I never go for a second attempt. I usually use 66-75% of a bottle before it gets too dry to use.
