I remember reading about a woman who was a schoolteacher. The parents complained to the administration that the children were afraid her because she had a constant scowl on her face. It was just the way her eyes looked, mostly, and she ended up having some plastic surgery to give her a softer look.
yes!
Agree with poster above, this video is a joke. It's more hilarious that people think it's real (shaking head). And then there is even resting ass**** face for the boys...some people will believe anything.
This video may be fake but it's based on real life experiences.
Some chicks just naturally have a BRF because that's just the way their face is. Sometimes BRF reflects what the chick is thinking/feeling on the inside but it may be on a subconscious level. Either way, I don't see anything wrong with it on the stranger level. I mean, who cares?! I can agree that BRF could be unpleasant in a work or personal setting, though.
At least with my classmates whom I have to spend a lot of time with (I'm a fashion design student) and most of my female friends, none of them have BRF so I don't encounter it. I'm usually smiling, even if it's not geared towards anyone (I could be thinking of something funny, or I'm thinking of doing something exciting, etc.) and my classmates say I have MRF (mischievous resting face).
looking friendly is an effort for me. I guess it is the muscles in the face? It costs me EFFORT to smile or look neutral.
I have a smiley sticky on my computer at work and I consciously tell myself often to smile when I am in the car. ANd guess what - people smile back. Guys are super thrilled, when I walk from the parking place to the store entrance and smile.
I think for sure I've already posted on this. I get it ALL THE TIME and I'm actually just sitting there normal faced. You should really see me when I'm pissed off, LOL
I was at my internists office one day and the receptionist called me up. He said he just wanted to ask me something....how come I never smile?
I actually smile all the time but if I am just sitting there minding my own business, I am probably not smiling unless I am reading or seeing something funny....
I have been told since I was a kid that I always give people dirty looks. I never thought I was.... =/

Nobody smiles when they're sitting in the doctor's office, that's ridiculous. That receptionist was a jerk. Really inappropriate behavior.

I've been told my resting face has the appearance of a hanging judge deliberating someone's fate.
