Ive had a quick read through this and yes most Id say is true.. but surely being classy isnt something we have to learn.. isnt it in us.. I wonder... My pet hates are women or anyone who shouts in company or in my house.. its annoys me, and another I agree with is clothing with messages written across.. or anything that draws attention, tacky clothes of all sorts, ....I agree with most on this site , but if you have to read how to be classy theres something missing surely, and then following the code to the letter is faking who you are... surely nice manners. not talking down to people in shops or restaurants. or being high and mighty is the sign of class. To me, being lady-like is all about your demeanor; how you carry yourself. One can be a lady wearing a strapless gown or yoga pants with PINK written on the back side.

Good manners are boring? That article gives excellent advice that used to be part of a young woman's upbringing (provided the mother did her job correctly and had class herself).

Step 1: Lose the word "classy." The upper class, whom you are trying to emulate, does not use that word to describe itself.

I agree with all of it, and I pretty much practice all of it with the exception of the cursing and flipping the finger - I have been known to let some expletives fly depending on the situation, LOL! (I am a hot-blooded Latina, hehehe!)
