My true style hovers somewhere between Michelle Obama and Joan Jett.

Depends on the day.

More Joan Jett, in private life - lashings of eyeliner, chains hanging off every body part, studs and black leather with a bit of 70s disco glam chucked in.

Yes, I regularly overdress.

I don't go out unless I'm in stilettos.

White tennis shoes. blue or black levis, and black T shirt, every day and adding leather chaps and jacket ,at night.
and motorcycle helmet .
Full grey beard , balding but some long hair , and about 100 lbs over weight @ 6'1".
If it's a formal occasion I wear my leather boots in stead of the tennis shoes.

I like to dress in skinny ankle-length pants, not too tight but a tapered, figure-flattering style, whether jeans or more dressy. My legs are long enough to pull off the look. Sandals (BOC has enough comfort and support for my aging feet) in either neutral, silver, or gold; or flats in a neutral color. A casual, boat-neck or v-neck top, with minimal jewelry. I really like Jackie Kennedy's casual style. When the temps get hotter, shorts just above my knees, or a casual jean skirt.

My "look" is basically looking like I don't care enough to have a "look".

The tight t-shirt/jeans look is OK on me I guess.

My style is casual, most of the time. I'm 74 years old, am self employed, and inspect/measure houses almost every day, and I drive quite a bit. For Spring and Summer, I like ankle length, light weight, skinny leg pants. I have them in various colors, with coordinating blouses or knit tops. Jewelry is limited to small hoop earrings and wedding band. I must look professional, but yet my attire must allow for movement, climbing stairs, checking out crawl spaces, and sometimes walking in wet grass. I have 4 pair of work shoes, variations of slip on canvas. I take footies with me for entering someone's home, so I don't track in dirt/grass/rain. Outfits are lined up on Sunday night.

Mostly casual, with some dressy.

Lots of jeans, ballet flats, flat boots....
fitted t-shirts, or soft silk prints.

Increasingly, recently i have been complimented on 'always dressing well'. I like to buy staples and the occasional bright print - lots of mixing and matching... I hardly ever buy for what is in fashion in the moment.

I generally wear jeans with a decent top in the winter and shorts and a tank top in summer. Boots in the winter and sandals in the summer. My look is pretty simple because I don't have a super great fashion sense.

I'm no longer sure how I want to look. I have a few nice dresses and outfits.

I feel most comfortable in jeans, casual trousers, T shirts, fleece. Maybe I should want to look like the person I am.
