Necessary no. Desirable in most circumstances yes !  Though once again I do hate restrictive clothing and underwear are as restrictive as you can get. If there is nobody around why not go commando , if you go out in public maybe a bit of discretion is to be used... |

I haven't had an opportunity to read the other 10 pages, I mean, posts here, but I think the main reason to wear underwear is that ... sometimes your pants might tear at the seam and then you will be fully exposed. I'm not saying that it has or hasn't happened to me. But if it has, it was REALLY EMBARRASSING!
