To me, the one on the left looks like she's either a child or has an eating disorder. I wonder sometimes how many of my fellow men out there are either feeling inadequate below the belt or are trying to satisfy a secret lust for underage sexual partners...

How times have changed, back in the day thigh gap was an un-scientific tell that woman had been ridden too many times.

Actually, incorrect. In current terminology, it is represented by the model on the left. It means feet together, thighs not touching. At all.

And it is physiologically impossible for the majority of women without becoming emaciated.

Both incorrect. Victoria's Secret runway show, 2012.

Well as I posted elsewhere: "What can I say; that, ahem, isn't the particular "thigh gap" I'm interested in...."

Personally I'm not looking for a 'gap' I'm looking at the whole person.

Can we all agree the left is unhealthy and only promoted to sell specific styles/types of: clothing, weight loss, cosmetic surgery and all manner of *stuff* to women. Please, do not hold the left photo up as anything to emulate unless you are a female actress looking to win realistic role portrayal as survivor of concentration camp.
Wow, that is pretty harsh. Some people are naturally thin, especially people not living on this continent. The fattest people in the world live on the North American continent and the USA is #2. I guess we feel better when we live up to the standard. There certainly is evidence of it in this thread.

Countries whose population eats more raw and whole foods rather than processed are where naturally thin folks come from. Put those same people on a diet of processed foods and they become THICK overnight.

No gap. That one on the right is one fine lower body.

It's possible to have a thigh gap and not look emaciated.
