I've met very few people who prefer short hair on women. Thoughts on this?
A lot of people I seem to know prefer the traditional long hair for women, short hair on men. Wondering what your opinions are.
I've had very long hair for 12+ years, just got it cut short the other day...and I love it!
My hair is coarse and oily. I was miserable with it long, plus it was more expensive to keep looking nice. With short hair, I only need one quick shampoo, dry with a towel, comb. Go!

Yes, much easier to care for! It used to take me 45 minutes to brush my hair after washing. Now with all that extra time, I can actually style it in some crazy punky way.

Not neccessarily. I had my hair cut to my shoulders in my 30s and it was a b**** and a half to take care of. Now I am 43 and have it to the middle of my back and it is SOOO much easier!

What we decided on similar threads is that it either needs to be fairly short or fairly long. Some people tuck long hair under a scarf and only wash it once a week, sometimes less frequently in winter.
Mine is so oily that it needs a daily washing! But not everyone has that problem.
It definitely depends on the woman. Some women look sexier with shorter hair while others can look more attractive with longer hair. Some women will still look sexy regardless of having short or long hair. I think most people will agree with me.
Its easier for me to have long hair because it's curly (3A). I tried to cut it in one of those angled bobs, but I had to iron it every day or else it just looked like a short curly mess. I like the long curly mess better than the short curly mess when I don't feel like doing anything to it. The curl stretches as it gets longer too.
