The 90s-- Frumpy mom jeans, baggy crap, goofy hairstyles, etc.

This is obviously a post by some one who did not live in that decade. Not everyone looked like Ron Burgandy.

I need more pics! Does anyone really recall men walking around in this gear?

Oh yeah, I think I dated the guy on the left. Hat and all.

I voted 80s but I think the 90s needs to be cut into two halves. The first half of the 90s was BAD. lol. those strange jeans that girls would wear that would make their hips look wide but wouldn't make their butt look big and wouldn't hug their legs either. And those hair cuts that the guys had with those leather jackets. Eeek. lol
I think the fashion post 2005 hasn't been bad, but then again I went off to college in 2006 so of course I don't find the recent fashion bad. lol. Or maybe it is because I hang out with lots of gay men and they always dress so nice.

I think now and recent is the worst. Men wearing pants with the waist of the pants below their butts, and men wearing their sister's tight too small pants - emo style. And the tattoos on all visible skin for men and women both, and the fluorescent hair colors, half shaved heads and so on.

The 60s because it started the casual norm. After Kennedy fashion went to hell in a handbasket.
Before the 60s people actually cared about their appearence. People would get church dressed to go out to dinner and see a movie. Hats, gloves, I love watching I Love Lucy because going shopping with your girlfriends was a nice suit, heels, gloves and a hat. All races dressed up and cares.
Whoever introduced hippie culture just ruined it. Now people go out in flip flops and just don't care. If you dress nice you look out of place.
People tried to bring it back in the 70s but the materials just weren't right.
Casual wear is so engrained now it's a little sad.

Mid to late 80s and early 90s - the hair, the windbreakers, neon, crazy sweaters, frumpy and oversized clothes - not my scene.
I'm actually pretty happy about today's clothing. It's much more formal and stylish than it was 5 years ago. I see many more dresses and attempts to look put together. I'm in my mid-20s and my wardrobe is entirely dresses and skirts - I really only own 2 pairs of pants - and that's normal among my cohort of friends. Men also care to look a lot more put together - say what you want about hipster fashion, but it is worlds better than the jeans and tshirts of the 00s.

I'm speechless. And not just because the model is "man enough to fill" the jumpsuit.

Oh, come on ... Picture this: It's 1974. The outfit is: green, grey, white and red plaid hip-hugging bell bottoms, worn with a red dog-ear collar blouse, a hip-length green knit vest, and red fisherman shoes with cork heels.
Yeah, I was one hot babe in the ninth grade.
