I am starting with the 1920s because that seems to have been the decade where the most recognizable fashion started in the 20th century.
Personally, I am going with 80s. Even for those who were into it at the time, I think the good majority regret it, even more so than those in other decades. The hair and clothes then...Were pretty much universally bad.
I am not a fan of 1980s fashion. That is why I never dress up as a 1980s guy during Halloween. But I have dressed up as a 1970s guy during Halloween 3 years ago as Tony Manero. This year I am going as Irving Rosenfeld from American Hustle complete with the 1970s porn mustache and dark shades.
I'm going with the 2000's, though it was a toss-up between that and the 1990's. All the other decades, good or bad, had a clear identity. The last couple decades have become rather nondescript sartorially speaking.
For me the 70s all the way. I was in high school and college in the 70s, and we had the worst clothing. It wasn't even comfortable. Does anyone remember granny patch vests? They were hideous. It was like wearing part of a really ugly afghan throw over your shirt. Mine had gold colored chains holding it together in front. I thought I was the bomb in that vest.
I also had a brown plaid wool poncho that I thought was the cat's meow. I wore it everywhere. It smelled like a wet dog even when it was dry.
And I had a pair of hot pants overalls that I swear were made of whatever material they cover the space station with. It definitely was not a fabric ever seen in nature. I loved those hot pants but they made me sweat like a longshoreman.

I think the 70s was the worst by far. All that polyester
I was a teenager in the 80s and thought the fashion was ok for men, but the women (girls) looked horrible with the big hair. All I wore in the 80s was Levis, Vans and surfer t-shirts And no, I didn't have a mullet
I vote 70's. The colors. Liesure suits. UGH. No thanks!
