What's in your stash and why?

My favourites are:
  • Coach (the mid-priced leather ones are both cute and professional)
  • Dooney and Bourke (the colourful synthetic ones actually appeal to me more than the leather styles)
  • Louis Vuitton (for durability, they are true investment bags)

I've got a small crossbody, black Michael Kors for evening (I think it's called the Preppy), but MK isn't my go-to brand. I'm drooling over a metallic Tory Burch bag that would be a great casual handbag...

I like Perlina, Brighton, and just about any really well-made, durable leather bag, especially if it's got a bright colored lining.

I like fossil bags and I picked one up at the thrift stores for five bucks which was a deal but like the durability of them as opposed to others ...

Saddleback Leather
Bexar
Marlando
Renaissance Art

I and my wife prefer these because the are more or less handmade and better quality than most mass produced "designer " bags.

I usually like Fossil bags the best, but buying them is a stretch for me. I have a nice Perlina that I got at a great price, and that's the one I am carrying right now. I need a summer bag, frankly, and if I could just go buy what I wanted, it would probably be Fossil. I have never cared for the bags with lots of shiny hardware, frankly. And I don't "collect" bags, although I don't throw the ones I like the best away, either. I've read that bucket bags are back, and I have an older bag that is sort of a bucket that I might wear next winter.

I'm into my Balenciaga bags (Work, City, clutches and Weekender). The casual style works for me and I love the colors that they offer.

The nicest purse I ever had was a LV monogram petit bucket bag, and I used it to death. The bottom edge finally wore out. Used ones still fetch around $500+ so they do hold their value!

Botkier tends to have great shapes. Rebecca Minkoff is fun and trendy.

I just branched out from the mainstream and picked up this bag:
Anni mini - black

It hit my hot buttons for classic but still had a few edgy details!

Tiffany & Co has a couple of reversible tote bags I love, especially the gold one!
