Personally, I wonder about the practicality of underwear. Is there a sanitation issue that is necessary to address. What about just being a clean person, and taking proper precautions so that underwear can be skipped during the warmest most uncomfortable part of the year. Or, for us men, just to "disguise" our physique when wearing thinner pants/shorts?

Live a little. Skip the undershorts when you want to..

A slip! Remember them ladies? Before spandex there were slips for under dresses. =D

Go thong/g-string. My wife has several dresses like that and she always wear thong/G-string underwear so there are no lines visible.

According to her (Mrs. Kings Gambit) its the only way to go.

Yes, I agree with thong/g-string. That's what I wore under that type of garment back in the days I wore anything like that.

When one gets older like me, tight jersey knits are not always the best choice.

There's a panty company called Commando. I have several items from them, and they've perfected the invisible panty line on regular panties and thongs. Cute stuff, too, and very flattering.

no reason really; other than the dress really clings in such a way that the entire butt (all) will be visible

I have a full length slip that I wear under another dress and I tried it..........nope, it won't work.

I think the lesson I have learned here is--no matter how much I like a dress--jersey knits are a pain!!!

I got them in "normal size." It was a good fit, they stayed in place while walking! And no weird lines on your thigh!

I think they are in lots of stores, wherever they sell Jockey. So online or Kohls/Macys maybe even the "Marts" could work.
