I don't mean how old you were when you started. I'm more curious as to what time period in our cultural history did it become more or less a common practice.
If you go by the adult video industry, it was around the early 90's when shaving became a normal practice. I'm sure the real world probably copied the practice from the adult video industry.

I think late 80s too. The high-cut bikini bottoms became stylish at the time (they give the illusion of longer legs), so that made shaving a "runway strip" necessary. From there, the totally bare look was the next evolutionary step.
I like real women and "that" is one part that identifies them as extremely sexy.
I've been noticing the trend starting to shift back in the last few years.
