When did people start shaving down there? (legs, girls, wax)

I don't mean how old you were when you started. I'm more curious as to what time period in our cultural history did it become more or less a common practice.

If you go by the adult video industry, it was around the early 90's when shaving became a normal practice. I'm sure the real world probably copied the practice from the adult video industry.

My own personal experience puts it in the 80s.

I would say when bikinis became ultra skimpy and bikini waxes became normal. Yeah, late 70s through 80s.

First, they just shaved around the edges. With the popularity of thongs, off it all went.

I think late 80s too. The high-cut bikini bottoms became stylish at the time (they give the illusion of longer legs), so that made shaving a "runway strip" necessary. From there, the totally bare look was the next evolutionary step.

My first wife did it in 1962. Bored at home one day. I don't know if she ever knew anybody who did it before. Cutting edge (no pun intended).

Bald started circa 2000-2001 at large.

Definitely not a fan of it.

I like real women and "that" is one part that identifies them as extremely sexy.

I've been noticing the trend starting to shift back in the last few years.

Thank God for that....men don't like 10 year old girls.

Ask a guy who says he prefers it....I bet he is under 30 for sure.

If not, he need to man up and deal with it.

Growing down their thighs and up on their tummy? No!!

If it "fits" under a swimsuit or panties, it's plenty ok for me.

Classic triangle and also wide strips preferred.

Pencil lines are an attempt to fool old school hunters.

When the photo shoot or movie is done....off it comes.
