What's the MEDIAN (half taller/half shorter) of the AVERAGE American Male???

Hint: yes, it's dropped since there are so many Asians around, but you'll be surprised at the answer.

What is considered "tall"?

If 5'11 is tall enough, then I think of myself. *smug post*

No offense, but don't do that. You are 5"6 and there is nothing wrong with shorter men. My husband is 5"7. But if a woman is expecting a man to be at least 5"10, you risk turning her off when she meets you in person. Also, the fact that you are not being truthful isn't cool either. Imagine meeting a woman who says she is "shapely" but when you meet her she is over 250bs? Just not cool.

That's a whole lotta man to offer you protection and security - when not tripping over his own legs.

All women love a man with glasses; it indicates very high intelligence. Especially in this man, with his wistful expression.

Former tallest man in the world, seemed to me like the ideal man for anybody, with his towering stature, kissable lips and distinguished wise looking expression.
