I hate long, baggy shorts. Closer cut shorts that come a bit above the knee will be a nice change. I wouldn't wear shorts that are super short and tight, though.

Puke at seeing a man's legs? That's very odd.

For a short time back in 1970, "Hot Pants" (which had been hot with women for a couple of years) were introduced for men. I flirted with them for a bit in high school, 'cause I have nice legs.
What's old is new again, eh?
I only wear shorts now while working out, and I prefer them a few inches above my knees so they don't restrict at all while squatting and leg pressing. Also shows a bit of quad. I'm in my 60s and not showing ab, but I can at least show quad.

Men, please wear shorts that come to about mid-thigh. Shorter if you want. Never longer than a couple inches above the knee. Show your legs! And please, short short swim suits as well. No board shorts. Tight and short. Not bikini style but brief style is nice, or more of a boxer-brief cut is also awesome. Thank you.

Haha, that is so true. Some people think it's some sort of natural law that men's shorts should be halfway down the calf and overly baggy, but in the 1970s, they were shorter and tighter and nobody was bothered by it. There really isn't anything new in fashion.
I also wear shorter shorts for working out. I have a couple of pairs of the long, baggy shorts, but I find they always get in the way, and I only wear them if all my shorter pairs are in the laundry.

My generation rebelled against short shorts on males. I personally will not be bringing them back. Ever.
