There have been studies and surveys to show men don't think too highly of female managers who dress this way, as it gives off the impression they're using their sexuality to get what they want.

If you want to get people's respect-- not their admiration of your body-- in the workplace, a skirt or dress shouldn't be any higher than 2 inches above the knee.
men were pigs back then (in madmen) days, and today they are still pigs, they just cant act on it, stare too long,
in fact, with all the sexual harassment training/awareness, a guy, particularly a manager has to watch every word he says, and be careful not to stare,
most guys like looking at a pretty flower,, but today, maybe you don't want the temptation or distraction.

some business owners I know,,,will make an effort not to hire an attractive lady because he will be tempted,,,or catch the wrath of his wife, when she finds out, he hired a pretty woman- no matter how she dresses.

it depends on the work environment too- if the workplace has a lot of women in it,,,they aren't going to tolerate some young tart showing off her goods...
like a pack of hyenas on a gazelle, they will rip her to shreds

Your response was a little off the handle, there. I don't believe men are pigs as a whole, but I do believe men in general know what will grab their attention visually. If you're at work, you're there to work not get men's attention by showing 4 inches of leg.

On most, it looks cute.

On all, it looks inappropriate (in the workplace that is).
