Never wear socks with Uggs,I heard that a girl threw a blood clot, and died because of this.
Actually the worst thing that any woman from late 20's-60's is to wear socks. Many women go to bed,and never get up,because they get a blood clot in their foot,in the area where the toes end,and/or in the calf area. This happens rapidly causing heart attacks, lung blockage and or strokes. The new normal is to go without any type of sock or hosery especially if you are on or were on any type of birth control pill,anti-depressant,seizeure medication or many other medications.

This sort of thing *might* happen with compression hosiery, but not with socks.
I can see if you have circulation problems.... they sell a certain type of sock for this, for use by diabetics too. If people got clots from socks on a regular basis, the govt would be putting warning labels on them.
