I need my socks! My feet sweat and I'd rather have socks to absorb the perspiration and also retain the skin cells that get sloughed off my feet. And it's so much easier to wash my socks than try to clean the insides of my shoes. If I had a pair of Uggs, I would wear a pair of light socks with them.

I always wear socks in the winter, even to bed. No socks in the summer though, then I am living in flip-flops.

I love being bare feet and hate socks. I wear them in winter at home but otherwise no. Plus I never wear trousers and I don't think it looks that good with a skirt or a dress !
I would never wear shoes given the chance actually. I always find shoes ( even comfortable ones) really restrictive.

I hate socks! And shoes come to think of it. Must be something to the barefoot appalachia stereotype.
