Are freckles attractive or not? I don't like freckles. Is there any way I can do to get rid of them?

Not sure how many you have but I have a few on the upper area of my cheeks and some on my nose and my fiance likes them... I guess I kinda do too!

I've got a ton of freckles. Unfortunately they've never merged to create a tan. I don't think you can get rid of freckles, but if you always use sunscreen and you cover up when you go outside, they will fade after a while.

I don't have too many freckles, so I've never had to try and get rid of them, but isn't lemon juice supposed to help? Of course I think it takes months of putting it on, so I'm sure its very drying on your skin and hopefully there aren't any small cuts.

And I guess there is always laser treatment.

I used to have a sprinkling of them across the cheeks/nose as a child. Wear sunscreen and keep out of the sun altogether between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm or wear a wide brimmed hat.

If you're still young they may fade or even disappear like mine did, but if you've had them for a while, get to loving your freckles. Some people like them, as can be observed by some comments in the thread.

I thought they were cute. They go with redheads.

Visit a dermatologist and get a prescription for a retinoid and hydroquinone. They won't make the freckles disappear but will fade their appearance. An OTC glycolic acid should help too. Whatever you do don't let the dermatologist sell you on ipl laser though, those things are potentially extremely damaging.

I for some reason have far fewer freckles on my face now than I did as a child. I have a bunch of tiny ones on my arms, though. I like them.

Agree. They're natures tattoos, and kids these days can't get enough of getting crappy tattoos. Why wouldn't they like freckles?

On a side note is it wrong that I hate most of the things my generation does?
