Buying clothing online is tricky because you can't try things on, and sizes can differ. I would not buy a dress online, because I find that the sizes are the most unpredictable with dresses. And it's a pricier purchase.

I buy pretty much any apparel online, as long as I'm comfortable with the return policy. And they need to either offer free shipping for returns or have a local brick & mortar presence that I can return items to.

Trousers, mostly, unless it's a brand/model of jeans that I already know fits me well. Pants are the hardest article of clothing for me to find a flattering fit

A few more questions:

1) are you loyal to a specific online store or are you willing to try new ones ?
2) what other type of products except of apparel and electronics are you willing to buy from online ?

Thanks
hodster

I'm always willing to try new online stores, but I have to be fairly well convinced that it's legit and safe.

I've purchased all sorts of things online.

Shoes. The sizing is too inconsistent, and the shape of the shoe varies so much that I need to try them on. I might buy sandals online, but not shoes.

I'll go with the above statements for the most part, slacks are usually a tough call for me to purchase online, most everything I tend to alter anyway, so dresses I often I shop by brands of fabrics I'm familiar with how they work with my body. I've rarely had an issue when sticking to this principle.
