I detest spaghetti straps, they don't cover the bra and don't do my upper arms any favors, visually.
The tank tops I wear have strap width of at least an inch across, so as to cover the bra straps.
Some have deeper cut armholes, so I can only wear those in privacy of home, not out in public.

I cant wear beater tanks, because my back has a bit of skin imperfection. But sleeveless tees cut with arm holes 7.5" deep and 3.2" straps fit me very nicely. I wear them all the time in summer under casual settings (and am doing so right now ).
