Everything on sale for 40-70% off, in stores and online. A lot of the stuff is sold out but for, I think, 4 more days, you can get some great bargains. I like their stuff, lasts for years, but I would not pay full price as I thought it was too expensive. Now it's about right!

Just went there....got some bracelets marked down from $45 to $8---that's probably what they're worth!

They still want too much for their stuff. There was a nice cap-sleeve (almost sleeveless) knit shirt, marked down from $95 to $45. Ok, look, if its a heavy knit, its for cold weather, but sleeveless is for hot weather---That's probably why it didn't sell in the first place. I would pay about ..... under $20. Its brown, black, and cream, silk, cotton, rayon, would look great with some wood jewelry I have, but not paying that price

They're also selling the store furnishings, again, waaaaay too much. The leather ottoman in the fitting room was $500 Look, they should be practically giving it away, considering its used, and it would cost to store and ship. I would figure $50. Actually, I left them a note with my phone #, said I would buy 2 leather ottomans for $75, or one for $50. They said they couldn't make such a decision, they had to as their manager. Ok, fine with me, take it or leave it!

I'm surprised, I thought CC was fairly popular.

I saw this weekend that Juicy Couture is closing a bunch of stores, and possibly headed to bankruptcy. Totally different customer base, I know.

Oh no! I just bought a juicy scarf. It was black wool with a smattering of gold studs. I thought ooh this is fun. A week later I realized it was juicy. I was shocked. It was pretty understated. Lol!

I probably would have put it back if I had known it was juicy.

I was at the mall a few days ago and when I passed by Coldwater Creek it looked to have almost all of their inventory still in stock. They've had the 40-70% off signs hanging up for a few weeks now. I guess that is why they're going out of business, no one wants their stuff even when its deeply discounted.

I don't believe they sell ice cream. I've never been in one of their stores, so I might be wrong.

I would bet -- since I've seen it happen at many other places -- the cream of the crop has already been sold off to off price places like T J Maxx for pennies on the dollar. We used to love going to "going out of business" sales, but then they started calling in professional liquidators, and all of a sudden, everything but the bad stuff was GONE. In a few cases, the stores sales prices were actually higher, to fit the business model -- so if you were looking at a box set of DVDs and it had been on sale for 40% off, when the liquidators came it they raised the price back up to retail, and then took off 20% to fit their pricing models. That's about the time we stopped going.
